These lights are very diferent from any Christmas lights I ever seen, they are very original! Warm regards. What city?

I really like the lights and colors, but I find the street traffic distracting.  The lights draw my eye but I find that I still want to look around the image to see if I'm missing something.

I think that you could have achieved more clarity and focus to the lights if you had stopped your lens down to f11 or f16, lowered your ISO as far as possible and taken a much longer exposure.  That way the cars and other moving objects would blur and give this image a more abstract feel.

Increasing the contrast in post might help as well.

it is in Bucharest - I actually find the lights of last year better

difficult with long exposure, because on the pedestrian crossing I could stay really short
