The guides at Everglades Holiday Park apparently have adopted this

mature alligator. Upon being called by name, this creature swam fairly

close to an airboat on which I was a passenger. Thanks for viewing and

providing constructive criticism.

I'm sure that some time or other some fool of a tourist is going to reach down and try to pet him. Glad it wasn't you. Nice picture.

Got a chance to see one of these close but not as close as this when we visited friends in Florida a few years ago;pretty impressive animal and so is your shot.Excellent image which I am keeping close in my Favorites.

A wonderfully bold and fierce presentation of the Alligator, Michael. I like the rippled water behind the head. It lends a mystery to what's there. Perfect focus especially on the eyes. There is just enough of the alligator out of the water to let you know what you are up against. The exposure helps to blend it in with the water. The composition works really well and creates a strong presence for the animal. A really outstanding piece of work. Best regards, Paul.
