michaellinder 16,611 Posted January 5, 2014 The guides at Everglades Holiday Park apparently have adopted this mature alligator. Upon being called by name, this creature swam fairly close to an airboat on which I was a passenger. Thanks for viewing and providing constructive criticism. Link to comment
Jack McRitchie 150 Posted January 6, 2014 I'm sure that some time or other some fool of a tourist is going to reach down and try to pet him. Glad it wasn't you. Nice picture. Link to comment

trisha jean-angela 5 Posted September 1, 2014 Wonderful shot! I like the subdued color and misty feeling in the light and water. Very well done. Thank you for sharing. :) Link to comment
pablowarko 1 Posted July 17, 2020 A wonderfully bold and fierce presentation of the Alligator, Michael. I like the rippled water behind the head. It lends a mystery to what's there. Perfect focus especially on the eyes. There is just enough of the alligator out of the water to let you know what you are up against. The exposure helps to blend it in with the water. The composition works really well and creates a strong presence for the animal. A really outstanding piece of work. Best regards, Paul. Link to comment
