You read this very correctly:It was very cold,near -20C and the wind was picking up and blowing that soft snow in the late afternoon.Lonely....sort of,as this is on an island community with a population of less than 600,so not that much traffic especially when it is this cold.Perfect for image seeking.Thank you for the appreciation and wish you all the best for the New Year.

Thank you for the kind appreciation.Worry not,I dress for the occasion and my limit switch is freezing hands and jamming camera shutter which has been frequent lately as our températures have been at record lows (below -20C) for this time of the year.Whatever,glad you liked this shot.I wish you and yours all the best for 2014.

Très belle photo d'hiver qui comporte plusieurs éléments intéressants dont notamment : poudrerie et lumière du soleil couchant, le ciel se dégage et le soleil donne une belle touche de couleurs qui contraste bien avec la neige. La photo est prise à un moment magique etc...

J'aime beaucoup cette photo et ce qu'elle dégage. Je veux vous remercier de vos bons voeux et je vous souhaite une très belle année 2014.

Merci bien d'avoir examiné celle-ci et de l'appréciation flatteuse;ça met un baume sur les doigts gelés pour réussir ces photos dans nos conditions difficiles,surement les mêmes que chez-vous a Québec.
