…and as she exits she gazes elsewhere and misses the photographer and the moment is gone… An improbable backdrop for such fleeting elegance…

Another classic shot Jack. Usually you want a subject to be moving into the frame, not out of it, but this works great. It's a tantalizing cameo: Where's she going? Good work.

Hi Jack,

This is a great find on your part! Nice capture!. Her all-white outfit works beautifully in the dark setting and her sidelong-glance is full of character.

Perfectly breaking all the rules about making subject enter the frame, instead of leave, not putting them too far to the border as to not confuse the casual viewer too much. And rightly so!

Carlos' quote also jumped up in my mind; looking a bit longer at the photo a second idea krept in, though. She's completely in the wrong spot. There is an elegance about here that the backdrop is completely missing; a somewhat fuzzy industrial looking stage. It seems nothing but right she leaves, and leave us with the closed shop (?). A decisive moment, if there ever was one.
