Another one of those spontaneous images: I was mounting some photos and this is the pile of scraps I threw on the floor before I put it all into the bag for recycling.  The composition caught my eye and of course I had to photograph it!  This one reminds me of something Jack McRitchie would do.  What do you think, Jack?

Doggone, Steve, there you go stealing my thunder again! If you've got your eyes open, pictures are everywhere; if you're half-asleep it's just a bunch of paper scraps destined for the trash. You were looking - voila! - instant art.

...maybe to the general audience, but when I pick up scrap matte board it seems fairly concrete! A fun shot for photographers (framers, print makers...) to view. Nice repetition of pattern by the floor tiles as background--serendipity is part of the game.
