You have definitely captured the mood of winter.

I would crop each side (left and right) slightly to create an aspect ratio that's closer to 4x5. The lone tree seems lost in the abundance of negative space. Tighter cropping on the sides would focus more attention on the tree and the center of the image.

I find the buildings distracting. If you wanted a rustic scene, if might have been better to have nothing except trees and mountains in the background. If you want to convey the look of farm land, it might have been better to see a barn and related buildings more clearly.
