Thank Gerry for nice information. Yes having a wide angle lens will have given a different mood, but I was limited with my old Nikon Coolpix 995 which is only a 3 MP camera. Also taking that kind of shot with expansive equipment is risky because cold and snow does not mix well with digital equipments. Many times I have to shoot with an umbrella or protect my camera otherwise.

Quebec city is completely different in winter time because the snow stay on the ground about mid december until mid april. We have a lot of winter activities.

Wonderful capture of this charming scene. I do not know of many places that have horse-drawn carriage rides aside from Central Park and Galveston, Texas but those two places do not get the temperatures your part of the world gets so I am surprised the horses are out in that severe cold. Very well done. Thank you for sharing. :)
