Love the tonal qualities you accomplished through this BW conversion, Laurent. I'm not sure about using the warming sepia finish on this snowy scene, but the crispness of detail is excellent throughout.

I like this version better than the coloured one, Laurent. The dark sky contrasts well with the snow. The composition is very good as the fence line leads you to the imposing church with its steeple.  John

Thank you for looking in,for the appreciation and the observation on the tint.I tried this in straight B/W and merged toward sepia which somehow gave the snow a little more definition and I liked the antique feeling it projected sort of the same vintage as the church.

Thank you kindly. One of the reasons I went B/W on this one was mainly to attenuate the banding created in the clear sky by the polarizer-WA lense combination but also to give more emphasis to the snow bank in the foreground.Glad you like the result.

Thank you so much.We are unfortunately not far from these snowy scenes....again as the colder temperatures are creeping in on us here.I was away for a few weeks and I appologize for the tardy response to this and the other comments you kindly posted on several of my folio images.

Merci et meilleures salutations-Laurent
