You really understand how to make any image 'pop'. This really burst into my gaze as I clicked on my view of the site today. Lovely framing, delicate light and such a pleasing expression on the model.

What is the added value of the whatever billion nude portret ? Of course the technical aspect are OK (but no more than that). But were is the crativity. Put a naked lady before the camera and push te button. No original viewpoint, no original approach of an already overcaptured subject, no original photography...no inspiration needed at all ! Sorry...

We are going to ignore Ivan who is indifferent to nudes and has not taste for them.  And sees no way to evaluate them for quality of creative approach...  Tough.  I like the facial expression and bold look at the camera. I do not so much care for the dark pink border which detracts from the effect. Try another color and you will judge for yourself.  I look at the nude as artists have for aeons. A fitting subject and one that need not arouse indignation or hormonal spasms.  I wish you well, Art.. in your figure art....gs  PS It is harder to display flowers in any novel way,methinks...

Lovely image spoiled in my opinion by the colour of the frame, to bright and not in keeping with the colour tones and hues of the main image

He is right Gerry Siegel, just another self righteous individual that obviously has problems. He visited my pages just before yours to leave an equally ridiculous comment, suggesting that a twenty seven year old topless professional model may be under aged! Thankfully, we can block people like that now on this site. He can go add to his almost eight hundred 1's and 2's ratings given to fellow members on PN, but at least we don't have to read him any more.

Beyond the glamour and the fine lines that we try to reproduce in nude photography, the expression of the subject is important in my view. What strikes me particularly in this shot, is the self confident, almost defiant look of the model. I'm with Colin though on the framing that I find a little bright for this otherwise fine and elegant study, bravo.

What is the point of having billions of photos of cars, flowers, buildings, animal life, or having photography at all? Don't bother looking at subjects you dislike, you are wasting your valuable time. Beauty is different for each one of us. Have a happy New Year.
