Winter Sunset across Silver Lake

The sun sets on the Offiical first day of winter in northern Minnesota

across Silver Lake. The lake is almost frozen over.

Beautiful image Paul. One question, do you shoot in Auto or Program Mode?? Just curious. Is the camera choosing your shutter speed and Aperture for you. While this is lovely, I cannot help but wonder if you may have obtained a bit better detail had the lens not been stopped down so much. But then again, perhaps you didn't want the detail as this works so well as a softer and artistic capture of the Sunset. Those work well for me as well!!! I have to apologise, I did not realize you had come back to PN and were posting more, or I would have visited earlier! I have a lot of catching up to do!
