Great colours here. I like the graphic quality of this image and the dense rhythm of masts. I only find the big black shape in the LR corner (tyres) a bit disturbing in the composition.

Thank you kindly. When I look at this here,I find that the two stacked tires seem darker than on my screen before being reduced for uploading. My idea was to anchor the scene but hindsight tells me I should have moved to the left for my shot to shave off  most of the black save that portion which is snow covered.I thank you for the very helpful observation.

Merci et meilleures salutations-Laurent

You've captured the emotion of all of us seafarers whose boats are out of the water (on the hard) during dreaded winter! It conjures a feeling of hibernation or suspended animation.  Great photo with lovely colors, yet muted enough in the photo to give the feeling of a storm. Nice capture!!

Thank you for looking in and for the kind appreciation.Winter is long here and this year seems longer as snow has arrived early and in large quantities. These boats will  find water for the start of the crab fishing season at the beginning of May,date depending on the ice situation.....Wish for you and yours a very Merry Christmas and a New Year in health and filled with joy and happiness.

Thank you for the sailor appreciation of the scene. The snow was good as the winds were rather calm.
