Churchill, Canada on Hudson Bay. Plane took off 30 or so years ago.

Immediately developed engine trouble. Tried to return. Didn't quite

make it. Both pilots lived.

Was a tragic moment but as you said fortunately for pilots they survived,not a so usual subject and choice for bw is a very good idea.

Jim! you were in Canada....but just a bit NORTH of where I live!! Excellent capture. I am sure I have seen images of this on a Documentary before. Your processing worked well for this one!
