The North Pole Express was about to pull out of the station. I was

busy shooting the scene. Later upon looking over the shots closely, in

only one shot there is an image of a pale little girl dressed in white

at the top of the stairs on the train platform. She does not appear in

any image snapped moments before or after. She appeared as the North

Pole Express was just about to pull away from the station. She is

looking at this wonderful Christmas train. I don't know if she was a

spirit of a little girl or an angel who comes to see the North Pole

Express. Perhaps she was just a little girl dressed in white. But

there is no clue where she came from or where she went between the

images before this image was captured and next shutter click a moment

after. I submit for your approval this image named "Christmas Spirit".

Merry Christmas to all and Happy Holidays. Please view large.

I can't stop watching it because of a beautiful warmth! Never mind that it's a photo made in winter, it has enormous warmth in it!

Best regards, Mark!

Absolutely marvelous, and just what I needed to refresh my Christmas spirit.  Viewed at the larger setting is even better.

I would give anything to be there on the platform, watching the North Pole Express at the station, to hear the train, to smell the crisp winter air, to be a part of this enchanting scene.

As I said...marvelous!

Mark, This reminds me so much of a Charles Wysocki painting. I'm a big fan of his work and like this with the same enthusiasm. Great story and the image itself does have a great warmth and mood. Bravo! Take care.

Best Regards,

Holger

Well, one could suggest that it's the warm lights/lighting but, I'm thinking that the main awesomeness are the angles and curves (all of them).

This is one impressive image to say the least.
