Hi Sam,

The early morning light and the presence of the Full Moon over the ridge presents a wonderful scene .

Well shot my friend.

Best Regards, Mike

Well done--and good timing.  It isn't easy to get both in the same shot without over- or under-exposing one or the other, as you know.

Hi Landrum,

thank you very much for your kind comments.

IMO getting this kind of shot right is also depending on air quality.

I've shot this image on an island in the Atlantic Ocean, at about the same latitude as central Florida. I stood at about 100 m above MSL.

The air was still totally clean, even a few days after a very wild storm raged over the ocean & island.

The polluted air that at certain nights descends from the island onto the surrounding ocean wasn't there either.

So, with more luck than wisdom, this shot worked out more or less alright.

Happy New Year!

Sam
