This is simply an amazing scene that has been taken very expertly. The brilliant orange clouds lead the eyes to the left side of the image. I also like the new moon in the sky. This is truly a magnificent image.

It's as if you've opened a bridge composed of brilliant light to enable travel between what was and what is.  Simply magnificent . . .

My best always,

Now your just showing off!  But seriously, there seems no end to your fabulous landscapes, and now this radiant scene. I've run out of superlatives, so I'll limit this to just 7.  Your Friend in Texas, Jerry

Great shot with wonderful colors and real depth. What a beautiful location, well worth the walk and wait for this beautiful moment. The clouds are just amazing!

7 all the way!

Best regards/Sadegh

Tony, a real WOW shot, that sky is amazing with the superb reflection, you have composed it extremerly well with the clouds leading me into the image.

Very well done.

Powerful scene Tony, very beautiful. I think I am most impressed with this for the discipline you possessed to look left and include the crescents (moon and shoreline) when straight ahead was a fireworks show. Awesome image!

Tony,  You were thinking overtime when you decided to put the sunset on the right.  You have created a most unique and artistic image.  Also, the reflection is perfect.  Many kudos on this one.  Larry

To each of you that took the time to visit,  write and rate, it is very much appreciated.   I guess if you visit a place often enough, you are going to get lucky. I was at that location about an hour before I took this  and at that time there was very little hint that I would see something like this.   I had enough time to set up the tripod, think about f stops and have Grad Neutral density filter ready while contemplating whether I would auto-bracket or not.

Patrick F wondered how I could resist turning the camera to the right? In fact, I could not, and I did turn the camera to the right and attempted a panorama. I had processed that one but I was not entirely happy with it. Perhaps I will reprocess that in the near future.

It has been a while since I have had good ratings like this - perhaps it was an early Christmas gift - in any event, it is very much appreciated.

Wishing everyone good health and lots of family time,

After what you wrote above you not all the time has enough time to prepare like you said, usually is just a click to decide what to do,but this time here you did it.Those lines on the sky and water reflection in contrast with blue look so good,I like too how is composed with left border line. What ND filter did you used here?

my best regards Tony and more excellent moment to be like this one

Give us a break Tony, let us breath for a while before you full your eyes with so beauty that we hardly "digest".

Very impressive.  The beautiful and golden hour clouds make the scene more beautiful and special.  Well balanced.  Excellently composed.  Best Regards,
