michaellinder 16,611 Posted December 15, 2013 This could be an Oliver 80 tractor. There's a fairly good source of information at tractor data.com. Thanks for viewing and comments. Link to comment
mike_palermiti 0 Posted December 15, 2013 Hi Michael,A nice looking tractor well seen my friend. My first impression was that I was looking at the head of a colorful wasp. The yellow stripesand converging shape caused me to imagine the "yellow jacket wasp" that I have imaged many times at close range.Best Regards, Mike Link to comment
adamkis 1 Posted December 16, 2013 The color and composition are so nice that it's a shame that the image itself is so grainy and pixelated! That really detracts from it for me. One other thing about the composition: I'm somehow bothered by not seeing the right tire. I would almost prefer you didn't show the axle leading out to it. Maybe that's just personal preference... michaellinder 16,611 Posted December 16, 2013 Thanks for your comments. In response . . .I see no pixelation on my monitor, and I have an iMac 21.5, the resolution of which is amazingly clear. However, even if I did, it was deliberate. I used one of NIK's products (Analog EFEX Pro), which enables one to replicate the use of a film camera, just for sh*#s and giggles. As to the composition: I cropped out the other tire because, in fact, I goofed in shooting the image with only part of the tire in the frame. Unfortunately, I didn't realize it until I uploaded my latest images. I thought that cropping it out entirely might be more effective. Link to comment
