this time of the year. Everyone in town has been talking about Santa

sighting too!

Well, since I'm old enough to enjoy my second childhood I'll express my appreciation for this image.  My first impression was that this classic composition would make a terrific Currier & Ives card.  Very well captured and presented...  Mike

Thanks. I think these old trains can bring the kid out in all of us. I was lucky enough to be there as the snow was falling. If only I could get people to dress in some early 1900's clothes for the shot. Still this may be a classic shot 100 years from now.

I was taking my son to the store and we were going through town, it was snowing, driving up the street at just the right time, I saw the North Pole Express was taking on passengers and I had my camera in the car. I had to stop the car and get out for only a few minutes to get these shots. I have a number of shots of the train over the years, but to catch it while it was snowing was perfect.
