Hi Jim, this is just an example adding contrast, enhancing colors and just a touch of sharpness. Of course you can measure each step to your liking or even apply selectively in parts of the image. If you are interested in digital post-processing I would suggest a specific course or a good book on the software you use. Ciao!

Roberto, I appreciate your further comment. Before I posted this image, I did bump up the brightness and contrast per your earlier comment. However, I cannot bring myself to bump it up to the levels you are suggesting as it doesn't reflect what I saw and it doesn't reflect where I want to go artistically. I will continue to evaluate images as I post them based on your original suggestion. I doubt, though, that I will be willing to crank things up as much as you feel I should.
