DGorinstein 20 Posted December 12, 2013 A very powerful and most impressive image. The formation in the foreground is enigmatic, and although it draws much attention to it, it takes nothing away from the overall greatness of this wonderful landscape. DG Link to comment
hoosier 0 Posted December 12, 2013 This scene is really special to me. I was born and raised in northern Indiana, but have lived in south Texas since 1984. I'm reminded that winter can have a kind of radiant beauty that no other season can match. Thanks for taking me back home to winter with this marvelous image. Best Regards, Jerry Link to comment
patflynn 0 Posted December 12, 2013 This is fantastic - technically excellent with the classic composition, and visually stunning with the light and texture. Thanks for sharing, I love it! Link to comment
Larry_G1664882113 15 Posted December 13, 2013 Robert, This ia another of your excellent Missouri captures. The colors blend nicely and the reflection of the trees and detail in the water are well captured. The texture in the ice in the foreground is the most interesting element in the image for me. I also like the vertical format. Nicely done. Larry Link to comment
stp 6 Posted December 14, 2013 Superb light and composition. The lined ice in the foreground is especially appealing, as are the silhouettes of the trees in the background. A simple but beautiful photograph. Link to comment
