When I look at this photo, what stands out the most are the over saturated peaks in the background.  Still, your composition is excellent.

I am not sure if I like this or not but I certainly don't dislike it. (Hope that makes sense.) The over saturation bothers me but at the same time compels me.

thank you very much for the feedback!

i dont think this can be called over-saturated, first of all, because:

-the red channels are not overblown,

-this effect is caused by an intense light, with intense red color, and not the processing

-every time something is illuminated by intense light, that portion will attract the eye, will be "highlighted", this is something normal, i cant see how it can be considered distracting, especially on a picture where these mountain tops are the main role.

David: i did not tell that i haven't post-process the image, it is very much processed, especially the colors. i only suggested that the red light on the mountain tops (and mostly the rest of the photo too) are not processed over, just the way i saw it with my eyes. you can blame it on the light or the scenery but not the processing. but i like such light conditions. the red dots in the foreground are actually not red and not dots, to my eyes they are orange coloured dry grass (the low resolution and aggressive compression of this site make some artefacts appear, so, i suggest you to look at my website before judge). this is exactly how i remember it, and dont forget that everybody sees a little bit differently. this is quite the most beautiful goal of artistic photography, to show the others how i see things, to show a different way of interpretation. partly this is the message of my photos. this is why i think there is absolutely no sense to dispute on minor technical details, because they are intentional, and they are part of the photo's message and part of my style. and it cant be considered an objective defect of the photo, just because it doesnt fit exactly with your personal taste. sorry, i doesnt meant to be rude, just try to explain my point.

You submitted your photo for critique and critiqued. I told you what I thought and what I saw. To me this is over processed and I do not like it. This is what I told you. Opinions differ. You do not seem to accept that. I have no interest in visiting other sites to see how good a photo looks there. I am looking here and I am commenting on what I am seeing here. Just because you like this, doesn't mean others will. Get over it. FWIW I am quite sure the shot as shot would be infinitely better than this unnatural looking scene.

i submitted for critique indeed, but expected some objective ones, or even something about the artistic part of it...my bad. my opinion about this doesnt matter at all because i am the author, and i can accept any time if somebody dislike it. i just find weird the reason of it,  based on some conviction about "un-natural-ness", some minor technical stuff keep you from enjoying a photo which, otherwise you may liked.

you have no idea how it was the real scenery and you have no idea how the un-processed photo looked like, so, your final assumption have no sense at all. it is quite obvious that an unprocessed image look crap and it is nowhere near from what the human eye can see. and the reason why i am so sure that this is not un-natural is the fact that i was there and saw it in person ( which you havent). i just wanted to show you something by this picture, for what you are not interested. it is ok, i accept that.

please dont feel offended.

all the best

Zsolt, Everything in this picture seems very natural for me and I think this is one of your best works in these series. Excellent my friend!
