It seems that the rating standard has changed and I see it a bit strange that the current average for this image is below 5 and IMHO it should not be there.  I really love your misty forest scenes making me wish I was there. On an very good image I can only point out very minor stuff which does not prevent me from enjoying this image.

 

Technical - Great. Only the very bottom left side is a little soft and often I will take two images - one at infinity (in this case) and then a 2nd shot to focus up close on those elements closest to the camera.  I then either blend or use focus stacking in CS5 which is pretty straight forward - I guess when you know how to do it. But then again and based on the quality of your images, you probably already know this.

 

Personal aesthetics:

Lovely foreground and even nicer with the trees in the mist. The rusty brown in the middle compliments the green exceedingly well. There is a however: I find there is a bit too much of the middle area - not enough of something to keep me interested. Please be assured that this is a lovely image and I am only giving you one person''s reaction based on personal tastes.

 

 

Keep up the fine work and I am rating it '6'.

 

 

 

Estos árboles siempre me han fascinado... He estado en Asturias, Cantabria, Aragón.. y nunca me topé con ellos. Me gusta la atmósfera, la composición un poco menos..
