Impressive sky & composition,Laurent. I've never seen frost on the beach before so it must be very cold.

This is not really frost as the title may suggest, but a light layer of snow over the frozen tideline. It is getting cold though and it will only get colder especially from mid-January to the end of February. The majority of the huge expanse of water in this harbour freezes over and gets as thick as 60 cm/2 feet, enough to support car traffic;prior to the construction of the bridge linking this island to its sister island, winter acces once ferry travel was stopped was via a track on the ice.Thank you for the observation and your kind appreciation of this image.

Meilleures salutations-Laurent
