Portraits is not new to me - it have taken a back seat to other

genres. But recently I have found a new passion for it. Suggestions

 Portraits are not my forte. I am very bad at posed shots. So I normally wouldn't critique one. However, I was struck by this. Their eyes are so intense. You did an excellent job capturing the intensity and similarity in the eyes. I also like the choice of black background and black and white. It really makes their faces stand out. Very nice shot. Look forward to seeing more results of your current portrait passion. 

Thanks for the kind words. It's "kind of" a self portrait. Magnus, My grandchild does not like to be photographed, but when i handed him the remote control for the camera it got his attention witch payed off in this shot. I love that little guy.

Also - a crop just over my highest ear might tighten the shot further.
