This is a reworked version where I wanted to enhance the drama of

this dramatic scene with lowering the lighting. Would love to know

what you think. Thanks for your time.

Very, very cool shot.

not that I want to be nitty gritty... The idea of darkening the edges to lead the eye to those amazing eyes and head works well, just in my opinion slightly over done, it looks manipulated. Maybe a touch less of darkening or with a bigger radius could still deliver the effect and look more natural.

i like the fairly plain colour look but wonder what it would like tot give te colours just a tiny amount of punch.

with such a great image it might be worth it and give it one more final tiny adjustment.

thanks ,awesome .

It is a lovely image for sure. However, other than the 'pussy cat,' I can't work out what is going on here. I am thinking that if it wasn't so processed I might be able to work out what is going on.

Miki, Thanks very much for the feedback! I ended up lightening the image a bit especially in the foreground to get rid of the vignettish look and it has a more natural look to it. Thanks again!

Sincerely,

Peter

David, I appreciate your input very much! The water buffalo adds a lot of complexity to the image and with the dark processing (which I wanted for drama) I was concerned that this would lead to confusion for the viewer so I understand your comment. I had a hard time finding the balance and this might be one of those images that have good potential but I may not ever be totally happy with. Thanks for taking the time to comment.

Sincerely,

Peter

Peter, I love what you've done with selective coloring to punch up the red here. The vignette does seem a little heavy, esp. where it obscures the buffalo horn (a key detail of the carcass). But this shot is a real winner and I think you're on the right track.
