Maybe when this street artist in a Metro/underground pathway went

to work that morning he figured he'd work a full day, but somehow

slumber and slow business overtook him, and this is the result. Your

ratings, critiques and observations are invited and most welcome. If

you rate harshly, very critically, or wish to make an remark, please

submit a helpful and constructive comment; please share your

photographic knowledge to help improve my photography. Thanks!

Enjoy! john (Best viewed 'LARGE' for facial-hand-head detail, jc)

Lots of geometry here, John! The caricaturist has himself become a caricature. We see the faces he has sketched but not his own face. Certainly attention-grabbing. You chose a fine perspective and angle with that shoe squarely thrust forward towards the viewer. An end of the rhombus seems to be nudging the slumbering artist. The monochromatic pointillism effect works well for me.

About artists on the street, ha! Game of words! I like it very much, it even leans a bit to surreal!

Best regards, John!

There's really no sense in my trying to explain my own photo further, or to add something at all, since you've done such a wonderful job in doing do that I just can incorporate your comments and say 'those are my thoughts too!'

Thanks for a superb contribution, one of the best among a series of really good ones.

Aha, you've seen my double play:  Street artist -- artist of the street.  Caricaturist becoming his own caricature.

There's really nothing more to add than saying you (along with Rajat P. above), really do me proud by paying such careful attention to my work and making an effort so well to understand it.

Best wishes and thanks.

This IS a Droll photo, isn't it?

I'm so glad you see something positive in it, as indicated by your exclamation mark.  (I've learned to distinguish your comments well, I think, and am most appreciative of you as a member of my audience.)
