The high contrast works well against the softer clouds.  A strong B&W image.

A very good choice from you to did this in bw,I like the composition and all elements here,very good contrast and grey tones.I like how clouds shapes and direction of movement is opposite to grass movement.Compliments my friend for this work.

This is a house I go by occasionally and I like to seize it under different skies and on this day,the clouds were good but the color version did not have the impact I was looking for so I tried B&W to see and kept it.Thank you for the appreciation.

Now I am really glad I went B&W and I thank you for your detailed appreciation.The scenery was very different this morning as our area just got covered with the white blanket of the season's first snow.As soon as I get a good sky,I will try to get a another shot of this one in winter condition;it will be easier now that I have tuned in to that weather site you have indicated in your message.Thank you again and you also have a good weekend my friend.
