jasper national park & mt. edith cavell Shades of Grey (Please click for larger view)

I was surprised to find this much snow in Jasper National Park in

August. I thought the snow against the grey clouds made a nice contrast.

I like the starkness of it all.

Mike....haha....didn't even think of the book title when I named it.  (It's not exactly on my top 10 list of books to read).  :-)  As always, thanks for your humor!

Phil....no, I didn't even consider a B&W version.  I just tried it and it certainly has merit as a B&W, but I still prefer that steel blue sky as a contrast.  In general I'm starting to appreciate B&W more often, so thanks for the suggestion.
