Wayne Sadler 567 Posted November 19, 2013 Even as nighttime temperatures have dropped to freezing I am still able to find these little creatures or they me. Maybe we just hang-out in the same places. Comments and critique welcome. Link to comment

mike_palermiti 3 Posted November 19, 2013 Hi Wayne,I like the "mood" established here. A nice Artistic work. However, using a circular polarizer with a macro lens set to F/6.3 just does not do justice for the camera/lens used to obtain the best degree of image quality possible. Best Regards my friend, Mike Link to comment
Wayne Sadler 567 Posted November 19, 2013 Thanks, Patsy. My little friends had not froze. Thanks, Mike. I have learned not to put glass in front of this great lens particularly for macros, but conditions were such that I feared harming the polarizer taking it off the camera where I was. You may have convinced me of the detail resolving power of shooting wide open, but I was after something else here - a kind of play between the resolved and unresolved down where the grasshopper lives.
