No leaves left

Only upon closer inspection ones gets the full impact of this great photograph. Perfect focus on two quite distant planes, subdued lighting and highlighting the very special quality of naked branches, of this very special tree where they resemble the delicate vessels of living things. You captured that essence quite well, while the other trees in the distance provide the necessary balance to highlight the closer one vis a vis the distant one. This image is more complex and rich than meets the eye. It deserves all the detail, patience and enjoyment of the spirit with which it was taken. Many thanks for sharing.

I appreciated this photo. Of course trees are a favorite for me. This though looks like it came out of a story book. The color and detail is simply phenomenal. Haunting and beautiful.

Yes! The composition is excellent. I am quite sure the underexposure is deliberate but I can't help feeling it would be better if it was more 'correctly' exposed. I also get the feeling you are trying to show of the sky here. However the tree in the foreground over powers it. Just my tuppence worth.
