guillelobera 0 Posted November 18, 2013 The Saint Mary Basilica is considered a national monument. Inside the temple stands the main altar, Basque outstanding example of renaissance. It was made in the sixteenth century by the brothers Beaugrant and Juan de Ayala, who show different style, being more expressive and dynamic of the Flemish artists . Made of walnut, the central street, polychrome, is dominated by a fourteenth-century Gothic statue of the Virgin. Link to comment
