I have never had much opportunity to shot Owl. Last year, there's a burrowing owl in Bolsa Chica and I went there spending half a day but did not get much. A few weeks later, I heard that he/she was eaten by the Coyote ...  - TFS!

We rarely see raptors in the wild, so this series doesn't compare with the difficulty level of yours, but still, thought would be of interest.

Your experience shows that if you don't seize an opportunity, someone else will - literally!!  (poor owl- but happy coyote)
