A fine result of isolating the lamp using the relatively short focal length lens at F/2.8.

Hello Rajat.

I like the subject very much and it lends itself to the nice B&W treatment you have given it. I agree with Mike that the background has something about it. However for me the lamp gets a bit lost in foliage - particularly the base. For me I think it would have worked better if the shot was taken lower so that the lamp was against the lighter green further away. But regardless of that I think it is a fine atmospheric image.

This is a fine pieceof work that caught me in the thumbnail and further rewarded me at full size. The precise focus on the lamp, stand and hanging wire against the soft blur of the background feels completely right to me. Also, I have to apologize. I was sure I had selected you as one of the photographers I wished to follow but when I finally checked your portfolio I saw that I hadn't. It was a mistake I have now rectified. Your ability is obvious to anyone who has a functioning set of eyes. I look forward to enjoying and learning from your work from here on out.

A very good composition with nice BW tones. For me too the lower part of the lantern is too much lost in the background. Best regards.
