I do not remember exactly what this nice lady said to me,but in many cases like this,the reply was rather an interrogation as to what was I finding so interesting to justify taking a photo.I only regret that I was not digital at the time to be able to show immediately on the screen;what I did though in cases where I knew I would return,I always had doubles made of the prints so that I could leave with the people that had agreed to be taken.....and you can guess that led to many more photos.Thank you so much for the interest and the appreciation.

Very good use of light - her face is not obscured by her hat, well composed, good story.

I had to lighten the face as it was in the shadow created by the hat.This was a problem frequently encountered in Peru as most people,even children wore hats to protect against the high altitude sun.I shied away from using a flash,even a fill-in especially on close-ups so as not to over stress these so nice people that generously agreed to let me,a total stranger,get in their space.Thanks to PP,I can touch-up....not perfect but it helps.Thank you for looking in and for the kind observation.
