thanks- in the Cass RR series - this is equipment used in the logging

of Cass mountain in WV for 60 yrs, up to 1965 or so. This is what the

rr was built for. The wood for the Wright bros. airplane came from

these woods. This machine has a diesel engine,

I work with telescopic mobile all terrain cranes on a daily basis but I have never encountered anything like this in the UK.

I note it doesn't have outriggers for stability, though this could be because of the fixed boom length that the rail truck undercarriage is sufficient. 

It looks like a seriously rugged piece of kit!
