I really like the perspective, center composition, big sky, and square format.  It's a great shot.  My other first impression was that it looked a bit flat.  I pulled it into lightroom and checked the histogram, and it did lack clear whites and blacks.  I adjusted the white and black levels, reduced the noise a bit, made some other small adjustments, and then realized I liked your version better.  Nicely done.
