timothymuffitt 1 Posted November 11, 2013 Dear Gaetan,This is beautiful! I am always impressed with someone who can capture a wood duck image. They are so flighty, they hear me coming long before I get there and are then nothing but silhouettes in the sky! Not sure how you got this (with 200mm too), but it is a beauty. I especially love the background colors on the water...a nice compliment to the bird.Great!Tim Link to comment
gaetanchevalier 5 Posted November 11, 2013 Timothy,To take those photos of wood duck, it takes a lot of patience, strategy and staying more than 6 hours during the days (more than 15 days invested) in 4 small lakes near Quebec city. It is important to invest a lot of time, because those photos are not luck.Thank you for your comment. Link to comment

gaetanchevalier 5 Posted November 12, 2013 Thank you Michail for your nice comment. I had this background because of the coloration of the three very near the little lake. Also there was no wind so the reflection was perfect. Link to comment

jorge_fernandez3 1 Posted January 31, 2016 that way you gave me the gift of been able to see this gorgeous image. The background is amazing! However what makes the image a 7 is the subject, closeup and clarity of your image. Congratulations. Warm regards my friend. Link to comment
