The textures are almost tangible! It is surely an autumnal flavour epitomised in a single photograph!

Very well done!

Best Regards

Beautiful capture and a very good image. What do you think about focus stacking two or three images to get everything in focus?

Yesterday I saw a still life studio shot (Photo.net) and for artistic reasons one of the two objects was a toy rocking horse and the photographer put the horse into a rocking motion and this created an interesting contrast between still and a  rocking motion.

Perhaps you wanted the stem of the top leaf to be out of focus for visual impact.

After I have written all of this, rest assured that I still like this image very much.

All the best, keep up your fine work and this is just one person's perspective which I call  'my 2 cents'.

Tony,me too I think to this when I saw the result with that part on left out of focus(that is in a way a bit disturbing)next time I will think to your suggestion.

All in all Radu I think your intent and vision was excellent. The back leaf has wonderful focus, and while there are parts of the top leaf out of focus, the parts in focus are excellent. I really like how 'light' plays such an important role in this composition. The colours are very vibrant and for me lovely. I have 'this same' problem at times with my focus. It is often difficult to understand but I am working on it. I don't know if it would be possible to do this image again (the leaves could be gone or in bad shape), but I think you should definitely attempt this exercise again, as I think you would 'nail' it perfectly, you can do it I am sure. Despite that bit of nitpicking, I was drawn to the lovely colour in this image immediately. Your artistic sense always is a 'draw' for me.

Sincere regards, Gail
