The cute home lizard in the self made device for getting rid of buttsof cigarettes in which it fell from the balcony ceiling! Howdesperately it is trying to get out of the hostile milieu!

I support the cessation of smoking! Disgusting is right! All one has to do is look at an ashtray to seriously consider what one is doing to the lungs and every other organ in the body! Poor lizard; I hope you helped him out after taking this shot! Thank you for sharing. :)

An outstanding creation with the cross- hairs aimed at the "human emotional reaction" that are generated from viewing this scene .

I figure that the lizard would survive because I have seen them do so in much more unpleasant environments.

How about another version with the lizard rising out of a toilet bowl!

This picture sparks questions as well as makes a certain statement. You are well known for your digital manipulations and this picture has the feeling of an incongruous pairing of objects that is so often found in your photo collages. The fact that this appears to be an actual, unretouched photo makes it specially intriguing.

 

I wrote this before I read any of the comments. Now I find that it is a montage after all. You sure had me fooled. Seamless work.

Of course I would have AJ, as a matter of fact I rescued him from the bath tab where he was trying to climb out without success! And then I put it on my hand to take couple of photos and then he spent some time in an aquarium without water (out of use)! I think this one was taken there!

Dear Pierre,

This is disgusting, and I mean that in the best possible way. :) Revolting is another word that comes to mind. There are others as well!

Once again, you have created a powerful image that evokes a strong reaction. Art is not always beautiful. This lizard however, is a beautiful creature in a horrid environment..hence the strong reaction.

While this is not the kind of piece I will want to revisit, I do certainly applaud your creativity in recognizing is potential, capturing that and presenting it powerfully.
