Consistent with your high-quality work, which I appreciate you share with this great forum. A very pleasing image, soft and evoking, exceptional in capturing this fleeting light moments. Congratulations.

Wonderful light, great compositional elements, strong atmosphere.  I think this is simply superb.

Very nice photo, Tony, but I personally think that it cannot compare to your "final" version in B&W, which is so superior, both in contrast and in mood. I do like the earth tones in this photo, but the trees somehow look a little drab here, in comparison to the B&W version. But then, I guess I'm biased! It takes a "photographer" to capture the essence of color, but it takes an "artist" to capture the "soul" in a B&W photograph. You play both parts to the fullest!

Daniel, Pierre, Stephen, James (Jim),Larry and Tibi, I am pleased that you like this image. I spent 3 days (Oct, 1,2,3) this year in Tremblant and I did not get this scene. I went back a week later for one more day and was fortunate to be in a position to capture this. This mist was not static and the scene would evolve every few seconds. I took a 2nd image and I am hopeful that it might be more artistic than this one but I have not had a chance to evaluate it as yet.

I am up at photo.net almost everyday and I will be taking a little time off to recharge my batteries but not before I comment on the B&W version which I put up for rating.

thanks again for your very kind words,
