Having tried to shoot similar images, I know how difficult this is to pull off. I'm curious, did you do anything to protect the strands from wind/air movement?

Thanks, everyone!  I appreciate the feedback and kind words.  Jim...I honestly can't remember what the weather conditions were like, but I definitely did not do anything (other than perhaps wait a bit for the wind to die down) to block the wind.   I almost deleted this image.  It was actually a rather unremarkable dandelion....so unremarkable I'm not sure why I even took the shot.  But gladly I decided to 'play' with it, and I'm happy with the way it turned out.  Thanks, again!
