Thanks for viewing/comments! .. About a year ago I bought this 2x TC III to

shoot the White Pelican since the 1.4x TC II was not enough. It works out very

well for late afternoon shots!

Nice lighting, Tm.  In a couple of weeks I will heading back to Dallas to shoot American White Pelicans.  About 90 spend the winter at White Rock Lake and land close enough for me to use my 70-300mm lens. 

Beautiful capture and I love the POV. Superb lighting and great control of DOF. Congrat Tm J!

Thanks Bill! Have fun! ... We have probably about 100+ this year and I see one with a red tag of 39E, google and found that he came from Idaho (tagged as a youngster in 2011) .

Tm, some of ours are tagged as well and we know they summer in Idaho. 

The evening sun creates a special effect. Beautifully captured.

The bird was further away but it's the same deal of white bird against darker background sunlit but late afternoon sun :-)

Thanks for last year's shot, it is even more impressive, but both are great.
