Something doesn't look quite right to me here; I think it's the obvious disconnect between the background (which is lovely) and the subject; he's obviously photographed with a portrait lens while the background looks more like a 17mm wideangle; the lighting is very different as well and he should be backlit more than he is.

Other than that it's technically good; the composition has been done well, but somehow it's ended up as two good photographs that somehow have added up to less than the sum of their parts when composited. I think given the nature of the background a more environmental portrait might be appropriate, with him shown in context. I understand that may not be possible of course!

That's just my opinion of course, and you and others are very welcome to disagree! Your photos are generally excellent (some of your interior HDRs are stunning), so I'm holding you to a higher standard than I might otherwise.
