I never thought I'd say this, but this one looks better small, not larger. I

think this is due to its being an iPhone image that picked up noise in the

water. This was captured two days after the switch back to standard time.

Your views are appreciated. Thanks. Larry

A fabulous scene captured well with your iPhone. I like the composition, the boats and the  sky colors.  The noise is a little bit of a distraction nevertheless I am glad you took it so that it could be shared with us here at photo.net.  Cherry O!

Tony,  Thanks for viewing this image.  Since posting it, I also processed a vertical of the scene and reduced the noise by lowering the clarity way down on the right side of the water.  It seems to have worked.  I am getting familiar with the Nik Collection plugins that I recently purchased.  You may want to take a look at them.  There's a trial period that allows using all of the softwares features.  Just Google Nik Collection.  Larry

Thanks,  Patsy.  I need to spend more time photographing in my own neighborhood and locale.  I often park my camera for trips, not a good idea.  I did manage to reduce the noise in another shot of this scene that I haven't posted.  Thanks, again.  Larry

Wangan,   Thanks for the visit.  I live two miles from this lake and drive and walk by several time a week.  After 35 years we still enjoy its beauty and don't take it for granted.  I need to do more images around home.   Larry

It really is quite good considering it was taken with an I Phone Larry. I just have a 'junker' cell phone for emergencies so I never take pics with it. I'm glad you took the shot, it is very beautiful. Just curious, how many Mega pixels do the I Phone cameras have? Hope all is well with you and yours,

warmest regards, Gail

Hi Gail,   Thanks for your visit.  I am not sure, but I think the newer iPhones either have 3 or 6 mega pixels.   It's not that that's the issue - it's more the problem of holding the camera still when taking the image.  I use the iphone when I don't have another camera with me.   We are well and Barclay is doing well too.  More important is how you are doing.  Best to you and your family for the holiday season.   Larry
