Mike and Pierre, Yes, you're both right.....the entire Badlands is a desolate geologic wonder.  There is so much variety though and there is a stark beauty I find really appealing.  We were only there 1 day, buy you can see the variety of rock formations from my recent postings.  Thanks so much!

So good to hear from you!  Yeah, they're pretty spectacular Badlands, and we try to go through them every time we go West.  We just returned from a long trip to visit our daughter in Edmonton (went a lot of other places as well).  And we just found out our daughter will be moving back to the Calgary area.  Are you shooting much these days, and if so, where can I see your work?
