We were pulling an RV, and as you can see there is no place to pull

off the road. I couldn't resist this view though, so I shot this out

the windshield of the car.

They're not kidding when they advertise the Big Sky Country.  Very well done and very sharp through that very thick filter ;-).  I like the scale offered by the three cars in the distance....  Mike

I agree with Michael...a great photo of Big Sky Country.  Love the leading lines and the interesting cloud formations.  Good work and thanks for sharing.

Mike and Bill,

Yes, I agree....Montana gets its moniker 'Big Sky Country' for a reason!  I can't tell you how many times I wanted to take a picture of the sky, but that's one of (only) a few disadvantages to RV travel.....not being able to stop.  Thanks!

Beautiful work Christal. A shame you couldn't take the photo from the centre of the road as I think it would have been more balanced, but I can see that oncoming traffic!

Thanks for sharing! Best wishes, Mark

Depth and perspective, ups and downs, shadow of the cloud, clouds in the sky and wonderful colors! Congratulations, Christal!

Best regards

How many thoughts this photo brings to me... The road, the travel, the music, the American skies... Thelma & Louise, Eagles, Pat Metheny, a green Thunderbird, the sun... I could stare at this one for hours...  Just great!

Francesco, it sounds like you're really familiar with American culture!  You're from Italy though, right?  Anyway, what you may not know is that everyone calls Montana 'Big Sky Country'.  And there is a reason for that.....the skies are expansive and amazing!
