I'm not sure if this is a posed offering or pure candid but regardless it is a fine portrait.  I like the position of the cane as it breaks up the mass of dark clothing there. The low camera angle exposes as much of his forehead as is available under the rim of his hat.   As with most of your posts this one leans to the high side of saturated colours.  I tend to shy away from such treatment in portraiture because I have never been pleased with my results, preferring a more neutral look.  You, however, seem to be right at home with it, judging from your successes in that area generally and with this one specifically.  You have too many posts to comment on or even view at one sitting so I'll have to come back from time to time to see what else captures my eye.
