You caught a so nice scene here,I like all composition with this front firs and dry ones in middle that look like spears,super subject.I am not sure what is in bg smoke or fog?In both cases this complete the image,my compliments.

I was going to guess that this is Yellowstone until seeing the stone face beyond.  Well composed and even when dead these trees are striking... Mike

Radu....it wasn't smoke....and it's sometimes hard to tell between fog and clouds, but I think these were clouds.....it was solidly overcast most of the time we were there.  The sun peaked out for a short time though.  Thanks for your comment.

Mike....gosh, I'm amazed you could tell what it was....you must have a large monitor.  Of course, I know what was behind, but I can't really tell on my monitor.  I haven't loaded any Yellowstone pictures yet, although we spent 6 glorious days there....got down to 26 degrees one night and our pipes froze on the RV.  But what a spectacular place!!!  I know Glacier is your favorite park, but I think Yellowstone is now mine.  Thanks for your opinion!
