Thanks for viewing/comments! It's a relatively simple shot when one gets

lucky but the bird never move or position so the light would fall on the

subject the way we want - I got lucky for 2 shots out of about 20 on this

one.

In many of the Bait Shops here in the midwest I see "Shinner Minnows" so one could say here, . . . "A shinner for a shiny Dinner!"

 

As Bill already indicated, Nice details of both the eye of the bird and the fish!

Thanks Jim! When I hear of 'Shinner', I think of 'Moonshine' for some reason.  :-)

 

Thanks Joao! Of the 20 shots I got only two came out like this. The fish wiggle a lot and the Egret also tried to move a way from me. I actually want a shot of the fish between the beak but the Egret turn his back on me and no such shot.  :-)

This is a very beautiful image, I like the position of the fish well lighted and very sharp, very good the contrast with the dark background, ciao Giangiorgio
