Thanks for viewing/comments! .. after 3,4 days of good shooting I finally figure

out how to shoot this ...1- Don't use ISO over 1000 2- Don't shoot after 6PM

'cuz light too low & ISO too high ... the only problem is the bird don't feed till

close to 6PM :-)

I like the way the white heron contrasts against the wonderful color of the water. (I guess it is due to the reflection of fall vegetation).  Nice composition, great sharpness, and the precise speed to freeze the image.  The heron's wing detail is excellent as well.

Thanks Rosario! Good to hear from you, the yellow is mostly the late afternoon light when the water is still and smooth. There are some fall foillage on a lone tree there also.

Thanks Brett! Part of the yellow color comes from the reflection of the dead grass on the creek's  bank on the other side also.
