Hi Sam,

You certainly came across an active group.

From you r private email to me, I know that this was a longer range shot, which makes this image more impressive with a short mid -focal length lens.

Your use of ISO 200 is optimal for the camera that you are using (and many other DSLR cameras, too), and the Canon 100 mm F/2.8 macro used at F/2.8 provides the highest level of detail that this lens can deliver.

I did notice that the EXIF Data reported 100 mm , F/2, but this is not accurate because the lens only has an F/2.8 (wide open)  set point. I have seen this many times on PN, where the EXIF data is rounded off or truncated to a whole number.

Nice presentation my friend.

Best Regards, Mike

Thanks Mike,

I've corrected the f setting in 2.8; also in the other photos I took that day.

No detail ever escapes your eyes!

cheers

Sam
